Hi,
People call me EZ or E. I am brand new to the aquarium world after my roommate robbed me and left his fish behind. They were a balla shark and two rainbow sharks. Two have died from leaking tank complications, but I have wanted an aquarium for years and saw this as an opportunity to get one going. After replacing the fish, I now have a 30 gal. freshwater setup with:
3 yellow gourammis (sorry for spelling, I'll get it)
2 small freshwater angelfish
6 cherry barbs
6 zebra danios
1
Rainbow Shark (the survivor dude left behind)
1 algae sucker
1
Goldfish (later learned he was a mistake)
and about 12 ghost shrimp
I've got a reference guide that reads pretty well, but I'm sure to have lots of questions for you guys. So far I love this hobby. I watch the fish more than TV. I've got a 20 gal. to the other side of the couch I'm working on starting. I plan to make that one mostly tetras with a
Swordtail or three thrown in.
I was glad to find a forum in which I could discuss all these fish and things. I am really looking forward to starting up my new tank and starting and developing my knowledge and credibility as an aquariist and meeting some cool people with similar interests. Peace.
