Is this guppy pregnant, or just a normal guppy? They say to look for a 'gravid spot' but I don't know enough about guppies, nor have I had *THIS* guppy long enough, to know if that darker area is just a normal part of her coloring. The males and female tanks were separate at the pet store, and we only had a male in the tank with her for a day before he died, so it seems unlikely that she is. However, I also have a male Molly, and I've read in some places that it is possible for them to breed, and she hangs out with the mollies (she is the only survivor of her school, I got into this without knowing anything about it only a week and a half ago, so my tank is still very much cycling) most of the time. I only started wondering because yesterday evening she was 'nipping' at the male molly - shooing him away. Usually they get along very well.

If she IS pregnant, I'm wondering what the chances are of it being Mr.Molly's babies? And. . . what to do from here! All advice is welcome. . .

I have had a few guppies that have looked exactly like this and they have nevr produced babies so id say most likely not, however most live bearers are very sociable and will have fun together.

Thank you, as always, for your advice! I hope you're right, as I have no idea how I'd handle that mess at this time! (I tried to stop pestering you for a minute and you end up answering my question, anyway! *luffs*)
