yellow balls after giving birth

i brought a balloon molly today and after a couple of hours noticed 7 fry...we have moved them to a separate tank, and put her in a breeding box...but she now has lots of pea sized yellow balls in there with her...what could they be?

Probably dead aborted fish. When livebearer's such as guppies, mollies, and platy's and swordtails begin birthing, it is best not to disturb or move the fish until they finish or they may abort the births prematurely. I have witnessed mollie's give birth in as little as an hour ,and some, took nearly a day to give birth to all of the fry. Diet and water quality also can play a large role with success in spawning. Livebearer's need hard alkaline water, and are largely herbivores who need substantial vegetable matter and or algae in their diets. You could purchase some live floating plants which will give young fish places to hide as well as food for both fry and adults.
Again mollie's do best in hard alkaline water with pH values between 7.4 and 7.8 and enjoy warmer temps between 75-80 degreesF with 78 F being ideal.

I would say it was the stress of the breeding net, but that's just me.
