Will guppies overpopulate a 15 gallon tank?

I've read that they are compatible with neon tetras as well as black neon tetras. This is accurate?

the Guppy wont bother other fish and neons are compatably and all fish that are peaceful will live happily with guppies :):):)

Yes, However some tetra's will nip the guppies pretty tails, Which is not a good thing,
But this trait is usually more of the larger breads of tetra's like the Black phantoms.

I'm very happy about this. I really enjoy guppies, but I was convinced they'd breed like rabbits and overtake any tank I had, and a Neon Tetra/Guppy tank sounds fantastic.

Don't be fooled, They can and most likely will.
Every month I have to remove anywhere from 50 to 100 young adult gupps from each of my 10 gallon tanks,
At any given time I have approx 6 to 10 mature adults with Young juveniles and hundreds of babies in them.

If you don't want the trouble of possible being over run with young then don't get females.

That's my plan, to get roughly 6 males, and leave the females out. I thought you had to have females or the males got aggressive, knowing that's not true makes me happy.
