2-3 times is good...the color part just depends on the guppy i had like 4 drops and some got color 4 months after some weeks..the day after thanksgiving i had more give birth and they had color when born so it depends..it seems the darker color comes first then disappereas casue they all have black but now starting to get red and yellow so yea

I feed my babies only twice a day. If you feed more the water Qty. goes bad. You have to do a lot of water changes. I change the water once a week of 25% but if you feed more you will have to do water changes twice a week. If the ammonia, Nitrate,Nitrite levels get high you will loose some of the baby fry. It will take about 2 1/2 months for the colors to develop and when they get bigger then the biggest fishes mouth you can then but them back in the main tank as a rule.
