I think the first pic is a tuxedo/sunburst cross.. I have the same babies at the moment
As far as the female picking on the male, platy's can bond closely to one particular male, so she's probably telling him to naff off.. If they are your only platy's, if you can (ie have room) I'd get a few more females. One, the lone female won't feel so harassed and two, the hybrid male will have someone new to chase..
All the research I've done suggests a ratio of 1 male:3 females
