What have I got here?

Could someone please be so kind as to tell me what my young fish is?

I have platys and guppies (and possibly a molly) and I never noticed a pregnancy but found a lone surviving fry a few weeks ago during a gravel cleaning...and I am not 100% sure what he is.

To me he doesn't look fat enough to be a platy but too fat to be a guppy...I'm sure it's obvious to enthusiasts, lol.

Here are two more:

Thanks!!

Well, considering it was born to either a platy, a molly, or a guppy I kind of doubt that, lol. Maybe some sort of hybrid..?

Thank you, very helpful. I came across an image of a tuxedo platy when I googled that and it looks like we have a winner.

It looks like one of my Hawaiian platys but with a yellow tail and less black. Yours has a high fin though.
Here is a picture of my two Hawaiian platys.

Thats what he/she is X. variatus is a hybrid of a swordtail and a platy. Thats way it's long like a swordtail, but looks like a platy. This also causes them to be mixed in a platy or swordtail tank, by mistake.

55 gallon planted tank, starting over!!!( looking crappy, needs a major rescape)
