Torn Fins in a Molly

I have a Male Sailfin Molly. I decided to move him to my nieces tank, which had mollies in it. And all of her fish started picking on him. Now, he has barely any fins. My questions:

Will they grow back?

What can I do to help for his fins to grow back?

Should I isolate him?

Any other input would really help. Thanks!

P.S. Sorry,. if this is the wrong place. I don't know where to post this.

I agree that you should quarantine him. If you have any, Vitachem would be good for him. Also, add a couple of drops of garlic juice to his tankwater and food. Garlic is a great immune booster for fish. Also make sure that his water is pristine.

Why did you move him to your niece's tank?

Oh, and if you move him back in at some point, try to rearrange the decor and maybe add more plants - it'll help break up existing territories.

I isolated him. And he had more fins that I thought. He un-clamped his fins and started swimming more.
