Question thinking about getting some guppies

I have been looking for something colorful for the middle of my tank and think these would go nice with the other fish I already have. I think I would really enjoy having male and female to experience the babies. I am just not sure I am ready to have them take over my tank. What is the possibility of the fry making it in the tank if I did not separate them? Would my other fish consider them a snack?

If all you have in the tank is the danios and cories the parents would be the only threat. Survival would depend on hiding places. If you got/have some java moss, a few would be sure to survive.

Sorry everyone. I'm gone. I can't use the forum anymore. My health issues are too much. I'll miss you all and I will return some day, just not on this account.

I wouldnt really worry about it! Just like most fish a few fry will live and a few will die when left in the tank with the parents...:p

Yesterday is History,Tomorrow a Mystery, But Today is a Gift, Thats why it's called the Present!

Don't expect much in the way of surviving fry with a pair of guppies and a 6 pack of danios to eat them. There may be an occasional fry survivor but not enough to worry about.

They sure will be good food for the other guppies though. Occasionally you may get one that will survive and will keep the population somewhat stable, assuming that the guppies die at one time or another.
