tank size for livebearers?

what size tank should ikeep all my livebearers in i currently have the adults in a 5 gallon i hav 1 male Guppy 3 female guppys and 2 female platys the male died but im going to get another male and another female so 8 fish total? plus any of their fry that im raising that im going to keep as well?

In my view,thirty gallon would be minimum.

i think a 15 gallon would be fine with 3 platys and the guppies.. if you didnt have the guppies then a 10 gallon would be good... i currently have a 10 gallon with 4 platys and a cory cat and 2 shrimps

30 gal would be good. if you don't have these fry then 15 would be good.

what if i get seperate tanks one with 4 Platy and the other with 4 guppies wht size? and what about a tank for just fry until i sell them'

you can get 10 gal for 4 Platy, another 10 for 4 guppies so they could have room?

and you can also get another for fry. depends on how many fry you have

rite now i have 32 in a 2.5 :( i need to get them more room for sure plus all the fry coming within the next 6 months until i can see some of them so i need like a tank to occomidate 100+ fry im going to have alot of filtration and circulation so i think i can go a prob a 10-20 n the fry will be from newborns to about 1 centimeter to 1 inch if they get big ill move them with adults to so prob just up to 1 centimeter

if future over population is a concern, keep the males in one tank, and the females in another tank. and if possible, another tank for the fry to grow up in.
