Yeah but swords love moss 2 :P i mean mine dont eat plants anymore because they like there food to much but your's might

I had a bunch of vals and swords in mine at the time.
Microsword grass would be great for the fry to hide in.

You can also try pearlweed which grows in very thick once it gets going. If I had spawning fish in my tank I bet it would hide 20 of them.
