My only 2 cents to add is that a tank with4 livebearers won't be a tank with 4 livebearers for long...
Even if only 2-3 fry survive per month, it gets insane fast.

Are celestial pearl danios an option? They're relatively easy to breed, but won't overpopulate the tank in a month.

The 2 swords are a must (can't get rid of them). Can't keep corys in the tank (they preffer soft water).

Sorry Redchigh, didn't see your post (it was the first on page 2).

Unfortunately, Pearl/Celestrial Pearl Danios are not an option (they prefer soft water, this will be a hardwater tank). I might put some celestrial danios in my Amazon tank I will be attempting to setup soon.

I am aware of the fast fry. I guess maybe I can keep my favorite 2 males and my most mature 2 female (selective breeding) and sell all the others. If my lfs won't take them my friend (55g Guppy tank) will probably take them.

But does anybody think that 2 Swords and 4 guppies would be ok?
