Question Sad guppy?

I know the first thing that will be assumed here is bad water parameters, but I don't think that's it. I have a female guppy who has lived very happily with her danio friends since I've had her, but due to a broken tank, I had to move them into a 49 gallon for an emergency fish-in cycle. I have two 10 gallons, one quick cycling with dirty rocks from the pet shop, and one established. I also have an established 5 gallon nursery tank which is holding her 8 remaining fry at the moment(the rest became dinner for the bigger fish). It was suggested to me that she needed to be in one of the established tanks, as she may not survive the cycle.
But...I think she misses her friends. There are other fish in the established 10 gallon, and the fry are very active two week olds, but all she does in those tanks is sit near the top all by herself. All parameters are good, temp is good, but she looks so sad and inactive.
So, I have her in the 49 gallon with her buddies right now, and I swear she thinks she's one of them! There are two small cichlids in there as well, and she chases them just like they chase her. Don't worry, there is no nipping, just chasing, as is common for danios...but guppies? I'm sure you're all rolling your eyes at me by now, but hey, fishies have feelings too! lol

I'm keeping an eye on my ammonia levels and on her. What do you guys think? Am I doing the right thing by keeping her with her friends?

Yes fish have feelings too and yes she probably did miss her friends and yes I think you did the right thing, but be careful keeping both her and the danio with cichlids, they grow fast. What kind of cichlids are they?
