Question about molly behavior

Very rarely one of my mollies will decide to go up to the top of the tank and splash the surface with her tail. I've checked around online and can't seem to find anything to explain this behavior. Anyone know? My water is fine, ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate around 5ppm.

I make sure to keep my tank covered too! They never seem to do it when startled. Occasionally they do it when I'm just sitting on the couch with nothing going on near the tank. I just saw her do it and she just swims up to the top calmly and kicks her tail along the surface a few times to splash then swims back down.

is there any circulation in the tank? If there isn't that might be the problem. Also what other fish are in the tank with her an if she is the only molly then might want to consider another one because she might be lonely. or trying to attract a mate or something

Yeah I have decent circulation throughout the tank, it's a 29g with a maxi-jet 400 powerhead. I can't be certain if only one does it or if others do as well since it rarely happens when I am sitting next to the tank. I have 3 females and one male molly. I also have 6 cories and 6 h&t light tetras.
