Red face Pregnant Guppies

Hey well i got 2 pregnant guppies from petsmart about 2 wks ago. they have had the dark gravid spot since i got them. the day before they were eating like pigs then today not so much and one picks at the other one during feeding time. im just wondering how close are they to being ready? i was told that they would lay on the bottom when they are ready but they are kinda everywhere
any ideas?

They could be getting close. Their bellies will 'square off' when they are getting really close. Make sure the lack of eating issue isn't a water quality/stress issue.

we had to ick them cause the angel fish we bought them with died yesterday and he had ick on him. even though they were only in the bag 10 minutes we still needed to be sure they werent gonna get sick. so we bought the ick guard tablets and did exactly what the box said. changing out some of the water etc.
