well where should i move her?and its been almost 45 days since she last gave birth and she has been with a male and i know shes pregnant.and nothing is happeneing but she doesnt look like she is going to explode anymore but she is still big.

Look around the tank hard for babies. If I were you I would not move her now. They can be pretty small. You might see them darting about in there? If she looks any smaller than she was it is very likely she is giving birth. Look where her gravid spot is; do you see any baby tails poking out?

actually i do i was wondering what that was.cause her gravid spot like shifted and made like a point at the end.but what if my other fish ate them.i have 2 flame gouramis,3 cories,4 swordtails,2 silver dollars,1 pleco,and 2 angelfish.

she may have aldreay dropped the fry and they may have gotten eaten by the other fish....it is not uncommon for that to happen, also, from what i understand they will not give birth if stressed and may abort

but i dont know why she is stressed she is completley normal.well it looks that way.

is she the only female of that species in the tank?? just because she is pregnant doesnt mean the males will not bother her and unfortunaely sometimes they will harass the females to death....literally....and some of the other fish you have in there can known to be a little pushy and aggressive

there are 3 swordtail females and one male swordtail.one female is an orange female the other is a neon swordtail and the other a marble swordtail.the male is a red velvet tuxedo swordtail

well you have a decent female to male ratio, but it is still a possibilty the fry have been eaten.....i hope that you will eventually get fry you can save!!!

they always give birth when im not here so i dont have time to put her in her net.but im still not sure if she gave birth yet.shes still big.
