Aww! They are adorable even though the tank is overstocked. Very good shots. I tried to take picture of my platy fry but they are too small. What kind of camera did you used? I think I'm turning into a platy breeder since I know some knowledge about platies now.

Anyway what are you oging to do to all of the fry when they grow up? areyou taking them to the LFS?

We have a local online classified ads that has a separate fish section. People sell aquariums and fish on that all the time. I'll try to give them away there... and if not, then the lfs will take them.

New mom has had 5 more babies since the last time I updated. She is awful slow at this!

My camera is a panasonic Lumix. The pics are generally taken on teh zoom feature... with no flash. Sometimes the flash does the picture justice, but most of the time, it just glares off the glass and the fish too. =)

Oh okay. My camera sucks when it comes to take pictures of fry. They always come out blurry. I always wait until the fry are at least 2 months old, but I have 2 now. One 3 month old which recently had babies and one that is 2 weeks old which is her fry.

Good luck to your sucess with the fry and you seemed to have a good plan. :)

7 hours later and she's still going. I think we're around 30 fry right now. She's also had 2 clear undeveloped eggs. My gosh, she just had 2 more... can't believe she's still going.

No. At least, I really doubt it. I've had her for about 6 weeks, and she just kept getting bigger and bigger all the while. But looking at her size... she's probably about 2 inches plus... So I really doubt that she hasn't had babies before. I had a first timer have her babies about a week ago, and she had a total of 10. I'm sure that's more like it! lol

She's had 12 more... total of 61... 3 of them are not moving, so 58 are swimming around and seem to be doing great. Then there were the 2 eggs that weren't developed. So, my gosh. This gal was loaded! I wonder if she'll still drop a few more???
