My platy had babies!:) I caught as many as I could see and have them hung in a net in the same tank.. (29 gallon)..that way they don't get eaten...What can I feed them though?

I have some platy fry too - aren't they adorable? I've been feeding mine Hikari first bites that I got at Petco. It looks like powder but it's tiny granules that sink slowly.

So far, so good. The fry seem to love them. Good luck with your new fishies.

Both suggestions (Hikari First Bites and crushed flake food) are good along with baby brine shrimp. As with adult fish, it's always good to alternate foods for more balanced nutrition.
Years ago, I hatched brine shrimp. Lately, I just buy frozen baby brine shrimp :)

Hmmmm... how about daphnia? I've got a bunch of it and it's a good size for those small little mouths.

I think I'll give the little cuties some tomorrow since they were already fed today.
