One loan survivor!
This morning my husband got up fed the fish, including the creamcycle molly that was in the breeders net, and we went on about our day, gave the dogs a bath the whole nine yards. Then I came along opened one of the lids on my hood, looked in the net, and I had dead babies on the bottom. There was only about six of them, but she no longer looked pregnant. So I told Jeff (my husband) that she must of ate the rest of them. Oh well I didn't really want them the neighbor girl does though. Well as he was trying to get the momma molly to swim out of the net without dumping dead babies he seen a live one swimming around. He yelled at me "GET HER THE F@#$ OUT OF THERE, ONE IS STILL ALIVE." So he grabs her out of there and gets her into the main tank. The little guy is still alive in there but something tells me he doesn't have an icecubes chance in he11 of living all alone in a breaders net. Whats the chances he will?
You might find it best to provide plants in there for more fry to survive. If possible, a 10 gallons tank full of plants will be a suitable breeding tank rather than a breeder net. Both the mother and fry will be saved from stress.

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.

Yea I have plans on getting a small tank and planting it with some floating moss along with other plants so I can use is a birthing/fry tank but when my husband picked this fish up from the store the other day she was already pregnant and pretty much had the babies the next day (I'm sure the stress is what made her have several dead babies). So I didn't have time to get anything set up, I didn't even have a net for her to go into I borrowed this one from my neighbor. The little guy is doing good in there all alone it has some fake bushy plants in it and he seems to hide within those except when I put a little bit of food in there, then he comes out.
Thanks for the advice,
