Okay to mix?

I have a 26 gallon tank (only established for a few weeks) that already houses 5 red-eye tetras and 2 dwarf blue gouramis. First, would it be safe to add in a couple of yo-yo loaches, a few mollies, a few platies, and some male guppies? Would these fish coexist peacefully?

Second, how many of each should I think about getting (I can only get 2 yo-yos, because that's all the pet store has in stock) without worrying about overstocking the tank?

Platies, guppies and mollies are a lot of fish IMO. They breed prolifically and there would be a need to control their population in a 26 gallons. I'd stick to only one of the three. Your red-eye tetras and gouramis are good choices though be careful as the red-eye tetras sometimes nip. Both fish will help eliminate the fry but some fry will manage to slip out from predation so it is best to control the number of livebearers in a tank especially when the tank is planted.

Skip the loaches unless you can get three. Also note, yoyos can get up to 6" long.
