I was walking by my tanks in the living room and noticed one of my males "hitting" on one of my girls.
I told my mom.
Her response?
"Maybe he wants some tail!"
That one hurt.

Male livebearers are very agressive sexually, and will persue a female or several incessently until he mates with her or them, it's just nature, so don't worry or sweat it. Your mother was right, not all that tactful, but correct in her evaluation.
