new problem :(:(:(

well the thing is if every time my female has fry and she has aprox 30...what can i do with the fry once my tanks full my grandmas tank is full and i have no where for them. i can see it now that with in 3 month my tank is just going to be overrun :(....i dont want to just leave them but is there any way to stop fry coming ???...any help would be hugely apriciated!!!...cheers

ok what i think im going to do is take all....ALL... my females fry and my breeding mommy fish :'( to family or the pershop and just keep males this way no more fry no more hassell...:):):)

Aww i love guppy fry. You could raise them up and sell them or give them to a local fish store. Find people nearby that want the fry. Or you could let nature take course and allow them to give birth inside the tank. Every once in a while one will survive. :)

erm....iv already taken my momy fish and her female cousin up to by grandmas.....after thinking hard about it tday the letting "nature take its cause" sounds like it would be good....il keep female fry and sell/give them to my pet shop :):):)....plus i need the new blood lines anyway :):):)

ok im gona keep female fry and give the males away ....plus its younger females for my males and yes i really carnt not keep fry ....so im gona keep this tank running and rear them as i have been :):):)

YAY thats great news. i think im going to put my males and my females seprate in the 5 gal but only keep like 4 on each side. i want to keep one male fry and 3 female fry from each batch.but i still dont know the gender and its killing me!!

i know your fry are the same age as mine so if you look closely at the fry you can see some of them are getting there gravid spots developing...:):):)

iv just re-read what iv wrote in my last posts and iv made it sound as tho im doing something awful but all iv done is tajke the mom fish away so i can keep some of her male and female fry to prevent inbreeding....thats all :):):)

ohh and do you think a 21L tank is large enough for the fry ...until there big enough for the main tank :):):)
