Maybe it's the crushed cichlid pellets? LOL!!...maybe they are sailfins? They are usually bigger than the short finned varieties.

Molly babies are WAY larger than guppies/platies that's probably why. But, I'm happy they are doing well! :D

I don't know if mollies are the same way...

but I just let my guppy fry eat algae the first few weeks of life. That way water quality stays perfect-
no risk of decaying food.

So now I see why you were surprised that I had 4 day old MOLLY fry that are 1cm.

I went to my LFS today and saw the hugest gold dust molly ever! It was at least a 4 inch female!

Does anyone have a huge molly like that?
