i was up till after 2.00am watching her i didnt know if she was or wasnt i couldnt tell and i put her in birthing tank as looked abit plump then when i looked again she was popping one out and then another then another im a nanna lol to 22 babys more for my tank hehehe here is a pic of my little ones
how long has she been in the breeding trap? pretty sure thats whats wrong. a lot of people won't use these traps because they can stress your fish. i use them quite a bit but if the female doesn't begin to drop her fry within 24hours i always let her out. she is probably not giving birth because she is stressed. this is probably why she isn't eating / only eating a little at a time. try letting her out of the trap for a day or two, if she is still really big but has her appitite back, try the trap again.
hi yes i have put her in my new tank and shes doing great now she has finaly pooped aswell jst waiting for babys now shes in the tank on her own and shes eating loads now
