My new Scarlet Red Endlers

I got these in a trade last week. I got 3 male Scarlet Red endlers with a black bar.He only had males. They cane from Thailand. He put them in with Blonde endler females. I got 2 adult pregnate female that were in with the red males for 3 months and 3 3-4 month old Blonde x peacock endler fry that have been in with the Red males. 1 of them turned out to be a male so I seperatated if from the females.I was told that each generation of fry will produce a more red coloring. I'm hoping to get a nice colony of these Scarlet Red Endlers. They sure are different from other endlers that I have seen.
Here is a picture of them.

I lost one of my Red Scarlet male endlers this morning. Last night he was sitting on the bottom of the breeder box I had him in. I have 4 female Blonde endlers and the 2 red males now. I put them all together so that maybe I will get some offspring soon.

One of my friends has Tiger endlers that are a nice red color. AquaBid.com - Sell or buy aquarium related equipment and fish in an auction format! has Tiger endlers. If I get a nice group of these Scarlet endlers over next summer I would be willing to sell some of the baby fry.

I'm not sure. I got them in a Trade from a guy in San Francisco. I did see someone on http://www.aquabid.com that had ones that looked simular called Chili Pepper endlers awhile back.I'm sure that I will have babies from the 2 pregnate Blonde endlers he sent me. He told me each generation the babies will be redder in color. The ones I got are a new strain as I have never seen ones like these.

Stunning, I love Endlers and I'm currently using wild type and various Endler hybrids as part of my breeding programme to produce my own strain. It's interesting to see another type out there, I'm sure there will be many more to come.
