He is gorgeous. I actually have a female very similar to him but she isn't quite as vibrant. I'm hoping to breed her with my snakeskin male to get some cute babies.

this is the best I could get of him. He just won't stop moving! :) You can see my other male orange snakeskin as a blur next to him as well. photo (14).jpg

I am. Took me a couple of months to finally find one like him. I just love the snakeskin/cobra patterned especially the multicolored ones. I'm hoping to find a female snakeskin soon.

I love the snakeskin/cobras too, but I lost one, and have been afraid to get another one since. I read they are sometimes a little more delicate than other patterns. I have enough bad luck with columnaris lately, so figured I'd probably stay away from them. By the way, just had to put the little blue boy in a hospital tank. He was swimming against the current non stop yesterday. I thought he was playing. But this morning he was still doing it, and didn't even stop to eat, so I knew something was wrong. He has a lesion on his lip! Oh boy, here we go again. I'm treating him with Kanaplex. I think I caught it early, as he's acting pretty normal in the hospital tank.

Oh wow. That sucks!! I haven't had any problems with the snakeskins being weaker than any other patterns I've had. I've only had problems with female guppies who have spots on their tails and or lyretail females. I hope your new male gets better. He is truly gorgeous.
