Thanks! But I was talking about putting HIM in the box. Or would that be bad for him?

Ok so I have this 5 gallon that's been cycled that I wanted to use as a nursery, but I figured I'd put the two pregnant girls in there until they give birth. They we're getting harassed by the males soooo bad. Is this ok? If not I'll move the girls right back over to the 29 gal.

It'll be fine. That's exactly what I do. My maternity ward is a 5 gallon, and it has a filter and a heater, but when the pregnant moms are in there, I still do daily water changes of at least 1/2. Isn't easy and fast, and seems to keep the moms happy. You should take that plastic plant stuff we were talking about earlier and put it at the bottom of the 5 gallon. I weigh it down with those glass rock things? That people put in clear vases for flower arrangements. Weighs it down nicely.

Also, if you have some other plants to just put in the tank, it'll make the moms feel more comfortable.

COME ON MOMMA'S!! DROP THEM BABIES!!!!
