Are you going to separate the females in a breeder box? Or just hoping there is enough hiding spots for some fry to survive? I'm excited for you to finally get some babies! Hopefully (HAS TO BE) sometime super SOON! =)

I don't know if you have a petsmart close to you... But I bought some fake plant squares... haha I don't know what it's called, but they were by the plastic plants. They are about 8inches by 8 inches, and about 3 inches tall. It's thick for the adults (They can't just dart through it), but it's a great place for the babies to fall through, and hang out under.

You'll definitely notice when one of your girls becomes really thin one day (Hopefully you'll even catch her having the fry!). When she is thin again... those babies have been dropped, and more than likely, it'll take a search to even see any of them. Do you have gravel? Or sand? Gravel is good cause it gives them a place to hide for a couple days. YES, they are THAT small! Just hiding down in the gravel... it's so crazy.

Anyhow, those plastic plant squares, I think are a pretty good way to ensure that you'll have a few survivors.

Can't wait to hear!

Lol! I do have them! haha! I got it for my adf's, but when I switched everything to live plants I got rid of them. I didn't throw them away, just took them out of the tank. I hope they have fry soon. It seems like it's been FOREVER AND A DAY!! I guess only time will tell

I still think the red wag will have her babies first, based on the fact that she is looking more square than the orange one. NOW, with that said, I just had a female have 9 fry yesterday, and she wasn't square at all... so it could be a toss up.

They are both quite gargantuan!

BTW, your frog is huge! What do you feed him? My frog is such a scrawny thing... I can't get him to plump up!

Oh, that's my female frog, she's huge! haha! They love frozen blood worms and brine shrimp. They've always been super healthy. I have 1 female and 2 males. Their all really healthy. She's the largest one by far though!
