I believe it is 30 - 40 days. Length can be dependent on water temp. The cooler the longer... kinda like bread or something.

Ya, mine are usually 25-30 days. Probably because temp is like 81 normally... I sure turn it down slowly.

Wow!! I thought it was like 40-60 for platies....boy was I wrong. haha! I'm just hoping that she's just gonna have oodles of healthy babies!

Well, apparently not lol. At least for me.

I hope so as well. It's a bit frightening how long she has been holding them, though....

Well, it also could mean all the fry are nice and healthy and she's taking her good old time to make sure of that...
