Well originally I thought maybe you were over feeding them, but the male looks fine.

I'm surprised how big your females are! None of mine have gotten THAT big before giving fry. And I've had about 20-30ish babies with some. Expect lots of fry!!!

Also, I notice my fish love to give birth when I'm not expecting it. ;)

I don't know if you have a petsmart close to you... But I bought some fake plant squares... haha I don't know what it's called, but they were by the plastic plants. They are about 8inches by 8 inches, and about 3 inches tall. It's thick for the adults (They can't just dart through it), but it's a great place for the babies to fall through, and hang out under.

You'll definitely notice when one of your girls becomes really thin one day (Hopefully you'll even catch her having the fry!). When she is thin again... those babies have been dropped, and more than likely, it'll take a search to even see any of them. Do you have gravel? Or sand? Gravel is good cause it gives them a place to hide for a couple days. YES, they are THAT small! Just hiding down in the gravel... it's so crazy.

Anyhow, those plastic plant squares, I think are a pretty good way to ensure that you'll have a few survivors.

Can't wait to hear!

Lol! I do have them! haha! I got it for my adf's, but when I switched everything to live plants I got rid of them. I didn't throw them away, just took them out of the tank. I hope they have fry soon. It seems like it's been FOREVER AND A DAY!! I guess only time will tell
