Well she's dead and buried now. Her gills looked really inflamed so I think it was columnaris. RIP.
Fortunately no one in the big tank seems affected. Now to sterilize that 10g, this'll be hard because I'm strangely terrified of bleach...

Dang, now my pretty little male is sick too. :(
I removed him. I'm becoming more increasingly concerned about the babies. The little ones are all going in the sterilized 10g as soon as I get it stable. But I think if they were going to get sick, they'd be dropping like flies, right...?
I did a very thorough gravel vacuuming (ie, I moved around the ornaments and driftwood and vacuumed places that haven't been done in a while), I'm hoping that removing all that debris will stop this epidemic (although I'm down to my last adult Guppy).

On a side note, I think the nitrates may be diminished because I added some Hornwort a couple weeks ago, and it's supposed to be really good at removing them.

Have you considered it might be mouth fungus?

I think it was a bacterial infection. Something that affected their gills.

Yea...I've had problems with that at times, too. Unfortunately, sometimes there's nothing you can do.
