Question moon efect birth

some one at super pets who is real nice and tends to advise other stores not super pets so i think shes trustable.She told me she bred platys and they have babies ever full moon is that true?

Yes, platys are much like werwolfs. (Just kidding)

Wonder if she has a window near the tank, that the moonlight would shine through?
I have read many times that adding moonlighting to your tank will entice the fish to span and reproduce.
I had some pike that had fry for the first time a few days after installing moonlighting.

I believe platys reproduce every 4-5 weeks, so it is possible.

All i know is they breed like rabbits. This morning I woke up and 2 of my breeding females were in the process of giving birth.

That means they were dropping their fry at very close to a new moon. I guess they never heard of the theory about a full moon.
