Hi sounds neat new babies. I would be afraid the betta would probably catch the babies eventually. I only kept my bettas alone with a frog. no other fish. but some bettas may get along with some fish.. I love bettas.

Sounds neat new babies. I have only kept my bettas with a frog. and no other fish. some bettas may get along with certain fish. I would seperate the bettas from the babies. unless youd rather not. more plant foilage would help. some floating surface plant is good hiding for babies.

Your predator problem right now is the tiger barbs, Greener. They are very fast and very predatory. The betta would usually have been safe enough after the fish got to be about 1 cm long but I would not count on that being big enough for a tiger barb in the tank. I have no experience with rams but they are a live food eating cichlid so I would be cautious with them as well.
