I had two black mollies that gave birth to a molly fry that is now aprox. 6 months old. While both of the parents are black, the offspring is white with black spots. Will this continue through till adult hood? Or is it more like a dalmation molly now...
one female black molly with one male black molly. I imagine there were many fry, however, i only found one and that's the one i have now, six months later.
Eh, my black balloon molly (whom the only male in the tank now is a orange male, tho there was a black and white one before), gave birth to white with black spot fry the last 2 times now. Your female may still be pregnant from the fish store. =o
punnett squares make no sense at all i am a straight A student and i dont understand it at all! all i know is that the dominant allele is capitalized...OK back to topic...say a female gives birth and still has sperm in her from the other male will she mae again?? and if they do will she use it right away or will he hold on to it?
A female can store three months worth of sperm that's three drops of fry but if she re-mates then the new sperm replaces the old and I think the female have to use it straight away Posted via Mobile Device
iv never kept mollies so i dont know but i know for guppys its 3 drops and i think platys can store it for up to 5 months
