Molly dying while giving birth?????? Need imput asap!

Omg i have this dalmatian molly that i didn't know was even pregnant, and she's been acting like her tail is broken or something, so I was thinking she was dying. I was just watching her and she had this fry that had a bulbus stomach and just fell to the aquarium floor, not moving. Now the molly is just floating around, not really moving, not using her tail, just using her fins and I don't know what to do! Please help! Should I put her in a birthing net so she can rest? I just don't know. I feel so bad!

Sorry to hear about your fish. Sometimes their is nothing you can do to help it when it's that far gone. Sometimes Livebearers get pregnate to young and have problems and sometimes they have litter after litter of fry and don't last to long. You can put it out of it's misery by putting water in the freezer and letting it get real cold and then removing it and put the fish it that. They pass away quickly and do not suffer.

She had 3 fry, all premature and dead, then tonight she passed away. I felt so bad. She was struggling to breathe and stay upright, but I didn't know what to do. I let her pass away naturally, but it's great to know there's another option to stop the suffering. Thank you so much for your feedback!
