Very hard to tell from these pics, but I can tell you for sure that the front platy in the bottom pic is a female. On the others, there isn't enough of a clear side view with the fins spread out.

10 gallon- 8 Harlequin Rasboras, 1 female betta.

20 gallonH - 1 Peacock Gudgeon, 2 Skunk Cories, 1 Sparkling Gourami. , one male betta, 2 nerite snails.

55 gallon - 3 Turquoise Rainbows, 1 Boesemani Rainbow, 2 Australian Rainbow, 4 Gold Dust mollies, 1 L. Dorsigera, 2 White Cloud Mountain Minnows, 1 Honey Gourami, 3 Cherry barb, 1 Koi Angelfish, 4 female betta.

This should help you with sexing the mollies/platies. Mollies and platies are basically the same fish. So sexing them is the same.

It's very easy to tell the difference..

This is a girl.. Notice the nice fan shaped fin near her vent

IMG_0604.JPG

This is a boy.. Notice the fin near his vent is not fan shaped, more tube shaped..

IMG_0242.JPG

They breed VERY easily.. lol I'm looking forward to my first batch any day now..

Age is only a state of mind.. It feels good to act your shoe size every now and then...

Cool When I first got my Platies, I was told they were all boys! lol That'll teach me to research sexes before buying and not trust the dude at the LFS.. Lol But I love my girls now and am looking forward to seeing the fry

As far as you Molly goes, she looks pregnant to me.. Does she have a small dark spot just behind her stomach? That's another sign... Other than being a little Fatty-McFatty that is..
