hiya i posted this story in my other thread but im gonna put it here. mypregnant swordtail fish is lost inside my 46 galllon tank. there is no place for her to hide for her size. do you think she is giving birth? or is she just gone? i checked the filter and nothing.she loves to eat and i fed them just a little to see if she would come up but nothing. im scared she was pregnant and i want baby fry i dont have any now but my other fish gave birth two days ago but they all got eaten. it was an unexpected delivery because i just bought her the day before.

I had a similar thing just happen...I just transferred all my fish from a 29 gallon to a new 55 gallon, and one of my corys is GONE. I had 3 now 2. I never saw it dead, they usually only came out of hiding at night so I never really thought anything of it, but it is nowhere...I took all the plants/deco out of the 29 gallon...it's just not in there. I can't find the pleco that was in there either, now that I mention it... I was going to find him a different home, and he is/was very small. Two fish, just gone? Very, very strange.

she escaped again!!!! i dont know how she does it cause the filter is right next to the only opening she can go thru and its one of those filters that spill the water back in fast so she might have escaped thru there.
