Question Livebearer Tank Questions.

So I have a 14 gallon tall with 3 adult Platies (1 male 2 female) and 1 adult Molly.
Well when I first got the Molly she was pregnant so now I have a Molly fry that is almost an inch long. So I am pretty sure it is going to make it.
I also have 2 older Platy fry and now I noticed at least 4 smaller Platy fry.

If all make it to adulthood then that would be at least 11 fish in my tank (2 Mollies and 9 Platies). I am assuming that is too much for my tank size, I cannot get a bigger tank as my apartment says the 14g is the max size allowed.
How many can comfortably live in my 14g? I know my babies are not ready for new homes yet but I would like to know ahead of time. :)

Get a 15 gallon just to be a rebel, LOL, thats kinda silly rule. Does it say you can only have one tank. You could always just get another TEN.

I can get a 10. But that would just stall me getting rid of babies I think, because then the 14g's fish and the 10's fish would both keep having babies. lol

Besides, I most importantly need to know how many can comfortably live in my 14g first. So I know how many I need to take out. :)

I think you have a few options.... sell the Male back to the fish store.... stop the cycle.... beware the F can stay pregnant for months and months after you remove him..... there is some truth to the old adage... There must be something in the water. lol.
Sell the females...and babies back to the fish store....
get another tank Keep the Females and sell the babies to the fish store assuming you check to make sure they will take them from you and at what size.
Get a 3rd and 4th tank. build a fish room. lol.
Or move and buy a big tank. (sorry I got carried away. lol)

What about 6 Platies and 1 Molly in the 14 gallon, and 3 Platies and 1 Molly in a 10 gallon?
