Steve,
Just an FYI. Mollies need, basically MUST have, a large percentage, easily 50 percent, of algae in their diet to thrive, and have decent-sized yields of fry. Mollies also live much better in brackish conditions, but they do OK in just fresh water, as long as they have their algae.
Spirulina flakes would help, though Spirulina isn't algae. You can seek out frozen preparations designed for herbivores, but make sure they are prepared in fresh water, from freshwater components, not marine.
Or, you could culture green algae yourself, which is the best option, though it takes a month or so to get a good crop. Contact me if you want to know how.
