| || | Hurt guppy! Help!
I bought a little female guppy and then in put her in my 20 gallon tank along with some platies, tetras and 1 other guppy. The other guppy is a male and is the father of my other female's babies (the other female is in another tank). He was getting loney so I put in the other female. SO the first day I put in the little guppy, the two guppies wouldnt look at each other. Today she was acting funny so I watched her closely untill I realized someone had bit her fin. I watched for about 5-10 minutes and saw that the male guppy (which is now following the female platy for some weird reason) and his partner in crime, the female platy, where picking on the poor little female guppy. I acted quick and put the pregnant guppy back in the tank and took the little female into a 1 gallon tank. Now I am stuck, because the pregnant female hasn't had her babies yet and now the babies practically have no chance what so ever, and I wanted to see the babies and raise them in a separate tank. Now the pregnant guppy is being followed around, probably waiting to eat the babies for some reason and a little guppy with a bitten fin. Is there a way to cure the poor little guppy or will she get used to it now that she is in a sanctuary? Please reply quick!
