Ahh, that is a sign that shes getting close. I don't know how long before(can't remember^^; )but they will stop eating before they give birth. Best not to mess with her

With my guppies, I watched them carefully and when I noticed the signs(hanging out near the bottom, squared off belly)I placed them in the breeder box that night and usually sometime in the morning I had a nice batch of fry They seemed to be less stressed this way, I'm guessing because it was night time. Perhaps try that?

Well, I left her in there over night, but, alas, no behbehs! I am excited though! I just don't think she's that far along though, but this is the first time that I've been able to recognize that a fish is pregnant.

Haha, it is exciting isn't it? The first livebearers I ever had were mollies, though that was around 2 years go xD I remember being way overly excited the first time my female dropped
Hopefully it won't be much longer!

My molly was laying at the bottow of the tank. Looked like she was dying. The next day she seemed better and that's when my mom first saw the baby molly in the baby grass. Just FYI.

She's still uber preggo. She hasn't dropped yet. I check every few hours. I have a bridge, my bumblebee catfish owns it, it's not really mine anymore. I have about 5 stalks of elodea, a Captain Jack Sparrow, a fake lily pad type plant, and a little glass ornament.
