How big do molly/guppy fry need to be to leave fry tank?
Fry Tank Vid 1 - YouTube Fry Tank vid 2 - YouTube
I have one dalmatian molly and two guppy fry in my fry tank. They are 21 a and 20 days old. Im not quite ready to move them in with the adults, they arent big enough for that! But i was wondering how big they would have to be to be completely safe? And when are they big enough to start eating other fry? I had found another fry in my QT tank, about 3 days old, and i cant find him in the tank. Though, my molly fry, beng bigger, has a bigger mouth, but i dont think they are big enough to eat him! i think it may have died, and then they ate it, but to outright catch and eat it..im just not convinced they are big enough.
I just want to feel comfortable putting any newborn fry in the tank..And if i need to find a bin for the older fry in case of any births...
