Help! Pregnant Guppy.

I currently have 2 pregnant guppies but i have no idea when they are going to drop... so im just waiting!!
Unfortunatly the nitrate levels are through the roof, which i am trying to sort out. Will these high nitrate levels stop the guppies giving birth or am i still going to have to carry on waiting?

If the nitrate levels are too high they could put stress on them and their health and they could abort their pregnancies. do lots of water changes and try to keep the levels down as much as possible till you can get it stable. Best of luck to you
