i got some fancy guppies 2 days ago n i am trying to breed them
i can't get them to acept each other
i am trying to get a new color
got 3 fancy guppies
male-yellow color
bigger female-bluish body and blue spotted tail
smaller female-halfblack
got any tips on breeding them
ok thanks
is my female guppy close to giving birth or something
she keeps like twitching once in a while but eats
and the spot got larger
and i see like some dots near the bottom
if she's close when will she give birth
you tank looks like it has algae on the glass.the white thing could be fungus and your fishes gravid spot don't look big enough that it's gonna give birth soon
i did a whole complete water change cleaned the whole tank
and boiled the big rock
den i reassembled them back and added water and the fish
i saw my male chasing the yellow female back and forth
and staying behind her where her anal fin is and i also saw him
get close side by side to her
is tat mating
yea i noe
but
uhh i got a question my yellow guppy
like where the gravid spot is like i think there's 4 dots
tats blakc and its like brown too
is it parasite or something?
could be from being nipped.better keep the water clean.dirty water+wounds/torn fins=fungus or infections.soon the fishes will die.is the filter too strong?are you using the HOB type?
uhh i tink its the power filter kind
like it's a blak box n hangs on the outside of the tank and has a tube tat goes in the water n suks the waste up
and comes out the box
You dont seem to be having that much luck with your guppys?? It takes nealry 1month it doesnt happen over night, u seem to be rushing everything... Paatience..
