lol only she' know exactly when.put a plastic grass carpet and let it float so the babies have some where to hide

you tank looks like it has algae on the glass.the white thing could be fungus and your fishes gravid spot don't look big enough that it's gonna give birth soon

well it's necessary to add water conditioner each time you do a water change.look out for white spots if the fishes look itchy

i did a whole complete water change cleaned the whole tank
and boiled the big rock
den i reassembled them back and added water and the fish
i saw my male chasing the yellow female back and forth
and staying behind her where her anal fin is and i also saw him
get close side by side to her
is tat mating

thats part of the mating ritual. looks like they are active again.

what do you mean turn on and off?you shouldn't do that.the bacteria dies and it makes the water dirty.plus the tank won't cycle properly.

could be from being nipped.better keep the water clean.dirty water+wounds/torn fins=fungus or infections.soon the fishes will die.is the filter too strong?are you using the HOB type?

#72 ·
thats a hang on back.you could stick a sponge in the out flow to slower the flow.that way you wont need to off and on the filter all the time
