jpepe1, if I was you I would contact Adrian Hernandez (AdrianHD) at Swamp River Aquatics to see if he has any pictures he could show you. I know he's said elsewhere that he has crossed mollies and guppies/endlers, mollies and limias, limias and guppy/endlers (only pics I've seen), Gambusia vittata and guppy/endlers, Poecillia picta and guppy/endlers, Gambusia holbrooki/affinis and G. rhizophorae, etc.

Sylver-The above was all stuff I've read before, but while looking for it again to make sure I had the list right I found a post elsewhere by the very same AdrianHD in which he said that most hybrid crosses are what he called complete dominance in that the offspring take almost completely after one parent. He found the ones that were a mixture of traits to be more useful, but it just goes to show how wrong my thinking was on the matter.

Hey guys, guess what I found. You know that video of the supposed muppies I gave? Well, after a great deal of digging, searching and looking around, I finally found a molly fish similar to them called "Poecilia gillii" and they have some interesting colored tails and fins. Similar shape too. :3 Think I may have debunked the vid, but eh. We know they exist and are rare, it's just a matter of finding real video and photos! Unless I am mistaken since they're hard to find info on, they're wild fish that look like this near...Costa Rica, I could be mistaken, the info I found was few and far between, but many mistake them for guppy hybrids. Here's a shot of one: http://www.faszination-lebendgebaerende.de/Molly5.jpg

These guys are called...Balloon guppies. I do not know why. lol But many also mistake them for muppies, but they're pure guppy. http://artedi.nrm.se/nrmfish/images/tSOK2006_010a.jpg

I see why it's so hard to tell, and why they're so hard to find, eesh! But I've been looking around for you guys.

There were several color types of them, saw some blue and white, some greens, golds and the like too. =) Most common one I found were the ones with the gold tails and fins, some had white spots(not disease spots or anything, just color spots).

I'm not in the market, but maybe some day now that I know what they are. For now I'm over-stocked and waiting for warmer weather to start up my little business. I found that the male molly I used to have was actually a wild caught, or at least a close descendant of one. Silver with a bit of gold on the tail and belly. Most of the kids came out pure silver. By silver I mean silver, not white. One came out silver with spots, I assume they're from my dalmatian female he bred with. I'm thinking he was a descendant because he wasn't a dull silver. He looked like this one except his silver was more steel grey. I got some kids from him, they're not full wildlike mollies, but they have the genes closer than most that have been in shops or tampered with for colors and patterns. A few of my babies came out more his shape but are a light color of pale...peach? Off white maybe with black and gold spots. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...a_sphenops.jpg

I finally got some photos of my muppy. They sure aren't very pretty...^^; He's a gold dust crossed with a tuxedo guppy, not that you can tell. LOL I don't think I'll be doing that again, I think the poor thing is ugly. ^^; Sorry, some of these are just bad shots, he's real hard to get photos of.

Oh, that line looks like a worm, it's a piece of tape on the outside. lol Took me a minute to realize what it was.
