Hello, Today i looked in my guppy tank and realized my male's tail has been split open. I was just wondering how that couldve happened and will it heal?

Oh. Just watch it for fungi and other illness, but im pretty sure he should be ok. :S (Correct me if i'm wrong.)

I think it should be OK I have had that happen before too. It will heal back.

Welcome to the forum!! Just make sure you keep up with water changes and it should heal fine without getting any fungus.
