my aunt gave me a few guppies to put in my tank from hers and after 2 months i had a huge population of them. it got to be so many i was putting them in a 10g tank and you could hardly see threw them at feeding time lol. i just recently set up a 55g cichilid tank and started useing the fry as snacks for my more agressive fish. and just a hint i would recomend you takeing the females out if you get to many fry to handle cause it seems that when you remove them they can still produce fry for a few months even without a male in the tank kinda like mollies do.
