Guppies not getting along?
My tropical livebearer tank has been set up since the beginning of March and I have had 3 platy, 3 black neon tetra, 1 molly and 1 male guppy in the tank. This week, I moved the 3 black neon tetra into my larger tank as they "fit in" better over there. Today, (not really thinking about it) I went to Petsmart and picked up two more fancy male guppy to add to my 20g. After acclimating them to the water, I placed them in the tank. As soon as they were in there, my first guppy (Tequila) began "dancing" around them and flashing his tail. Tequila and one of the others in particular don't seem to be getting along. Did I make a mistake on getting two more males? Should I have gotten females instead? Or will they get used to each other and hopefully live in harmony?
Thanks for any input! I am perfectly willing to take the two I just got back to Petsmart because I don't want to stress Tequila out too much.
