Can guppies and neon tetras be kept together and how many would you keep in a 40l tank?

there would be no aggression that I could see happening

Hahaha!!! True. Though the neons can eat the fry, the guppies will breed more than they can eat.

well depends on how many fish there are... if there are a few guppies and a couple neons the fry should get eaten

I don't count on anything eating fry anymore. I even had my big Gourami in with the fry and she wouldn't even do them in. Guppies are like Tribbles, they just keep multiplying.

If you don't want to chance your tank being over run with Guppy fry and you don't have a place to take the babies, stick with the males or... all females and hope they were not fertilized before you bought them. ha ha

yah be sure the females haven't been introduce to males or you could have fry for a few months
