Guppies and Neon Tetras

So i have 3 guppies one Sunrise, one Turqouis(sp?),and one Fancy living with 3 neon tetras in a 10 gallon tank.and i am wondering if you guys have any advice on how to take care of them the guppies and neons are all male just cause i don't want fish babies in the tank so i avoided buying females just for that reason even though i do know you need at least 2 females with one male but i want no little fry in the tank so it's a male party in there XD.i want to make sure i am taking care of them right.i mean i already had two neons and guppies die unexspectly. one neon died of swim bladder and both guppies and one neon died of who knows what.I thought it was too much turbulence in the tank and was causing stress on them and killing them so i just took every airstone i tried out to be safe i really hope that doesn't effect them too much. And it's not the water i got it tested and they said everything read fine.

also i am curious with all male guppies does one male try to show dominace to the others? cause I think the sunrise is trying to be dominate to the turqouis but he flees into the little rock hide out and the fancy just goes off on his own little world sometimes around the tetra

just wondering how everyone raised their guppies and neon tetras and see if there is any advice you can give?

Without really thinking about it I would say you should be able to get 2 more of each. If you are having problems with agression from your guppies groups of about 7 should severely drop the aggression levels. Neons definantly need a school of about 5. I think if you increase the size of your schools your problems should go away. Hope this helped :)

I guess it would be slightly overstocked. However, with smaller fish like this, being 'overstocked' is a relative term. If you do decide to do this (and all fish appear to have enough swimming room) you could manage it. You would need to do weekly water changes of about 50%. And remember, a planted tank will be healthier and won't need such big or frequent water changes.

I'd have 6 neons and 3 guppies. The guppies really don't school and the neons would do well with six. As Dragon said, live plants would help a lot, especially fast growing floating plants.

The guppies do seem to swim in groups. They may not necessarily school though. The reason I suggested a larger group of Guppies is because, If they are all males, they can sometimes get aggressive and nip at each other. With a larger group, most of this aggression seems to be dissipated in larger groups. It certainly isn't a requirement though ;)
